This page explains how to request deletion of your KahaniAI account and the data linked to it.
You can use the app as a guest without an account; this process applies only if you signed in with Google.
Use subject line: KahaniAI Account Deletion Request
Include the Google email address you used to sign in to KahaniAI.
Optionally include your display name as shown in the app profile.
We will verify the request and delete your account within 30 days (usually within 7 business days).
After deletion is complete, we will confirm by email if you provided a reachable address.
Data that will be deleted
Your Firebase Authentication account (Google sign-in link for KahaniAI)
Your user profile in our database (users/{your uid}) — name, email, photo URL, premium/ad-free flags
Synced library and reading progress stored in the cloud for your account
Push notification tokens (FCM) stored for your account
Your comments on stories (or we will remove content attributable to your account)
Your story and comment reactions linked to your user ID
Read-dedupe records tied to your user ID
Data that may be kept
Aggregated story statistics: total read counts on stories may remain; they are not tied to your identity after your user records are removed.
Crash/diagnostic logs: anonymized or de-identified crash reports may be retained for up to 90 days for app stability.
Local device data: bookmarks, theme, and guest limits stored on your phone are removed when you uninstall the app or clear app storage — we cannot delete data on your device remotely.
Legal/compliance: minimal records of your deletion request may be kept only as long as required by law.
Before you delete
You can sign out anytime from Profile → Log out without deleting your account.
You can delete individual comments inside the app while logged in.
Guest usage does not create a cloud account; uninstalling the app clears local guest data.
